By accessing or using BiteChat ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Description of Service
BiteChat is an AI-powered nutrition and calorie tracking app that helps users log food, track macros, discover recipes, and get personalised nutrition guidance. The App is not a medical service and does not provide medical advice.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use BiteChat. By using the App you represent that you meet this requirement.
4. User Accounts
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You may not use another person's account without permission.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the App for any unlawful purpose.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App.
- Upload or transmit any malicious code or content.
- Interfere with the integrity or performance of the App.
- Scrape, crawl, or extract data from the App without permission.
6. AI-Generated Content
BiteChat uses artificial intelligence to provide nutritional estimates, meal suggestions, and coaching responses. This content is for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making significant changes to your diet.
7. Subscriptions and Payments
Some features of BiteChat require a paid subscription. Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store and are subject to their respective terms. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds except where required by law.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality of the App — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are owned by BiteChat and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BiteChat shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the App.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which BiteChat operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.
